Prime Minister Imran Khan launched Ehsas Rashan Rayat 2022 again at the opening ceremony held in Islamabad. Ehsas Rashan Rayat aims to help 20 million items in daily use by offering 30% monthly support.
According to the Prime Minister, Ehsas Rashan Rayat 2022 is one of the largest in the history of Pakistan. He said that such initiatives, which are introduced to help vulnerable groups in society, are only possible because of people who have a passion and interest in the lives of others.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, during his address at the opening ceremony, said that Ehsas Rashan Riyat program is the right step towards making the country a welfare state. The program will provide 30% subsidy to 20 million families on daily use items.
According to the details, the support provided under the Ehsaas Rashan Rayat 2022 program will effectively reduce the prices of basic commodities such as wheat flour, refrigeration oil and ghee in order to help the lower segments of society with daily use items.
Under the Ehsaas Rashan Rayat 2022 programme, there will be an expenditure of Rs. 106 billion to provide subsidies to 20 million eligible families under the Ehsas program. Furthermore, the Ehsas cash assistance program will also be started under the Ehsas Kafala program, which is worth Rs. 71 billion.
Prime Minister Imran Khan added that the Ahsa Social Welfare Program of Ehsaas has provided financial assistance to deserving families during the pandemic, and the work done by the initiative has been recognized worldwide. The Prime Minister praised the work done by the Ehsas Program to alleviate poverty in the country.

The Prime Minister urged the public to pay their taxes, and promised that all the collected amounts will be used for the welfare and development of the people, adding that 98% of the financial aid has been disbursed under the Ihsaas Kafalat program on needy women.
He said that a country can only prosper if the resources are spent on the advancement of women, especially in their education and health, adding that the government’s National Health Insurance Program was a big step towards providing free medical treatment to those in need.
