Peshawar: Under the umbrella of the Pakistan Government’s Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Initiatives, the Six Months Salary Feeling Scheme for eligible women has increased from Rs 12,000 and Rs 13,000 to 14,000 each.
Adviser to the Prime Minister for Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Sania Nashtar, said in her tweet that the government has taken initiatives to liberate poor women in society.
She urged the women to obtain the transaction receipt from the bank representative along with the cash receipt. Dr. Sania also directed the directorates’ departments to ensure transparency in transactions and warned against taking strict measures against those who mislead women, especially illiterate women in rural areas.
District administrations in all cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have displayed leaflets and small banners showing warning messages following the directions of the Assistant Prime Minister.
Dr. Sania Nashtar, on February 15th, warned clients to take strict measures against illegal withholding of funds of Ehsas Kafalat beneficiaries.
SAPM shared a video message on its Twitter account and confirmed that strict action will be taken against those found to be involved in the illegal deduction.
She urged the beneficiaries to count the full amount before leaving the counter.
